Ingredients
- 3 c. flour
- 3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- 3/4 tsp. Salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 2 sticks butter
- 1-1/2 c. water
- 3 Tblsp. cocoa

Step 1
Combine flour, sugar, eggs, sour cream, salt and soda. Bring 2 sticks butter, water and cocoa to a boil. Add to flour mixture and beat well. Pour onto jelly roll pan and bake. (350 for 20 minutes)
Frosting: 1 stick butter, 6 Tblsp. milk, 1-1# box powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, and 3 Tblsp Cocoa. Bring butter, milk and cocoa to a boil. Add powdered sugar and beat well. Add vanilla . Spread on cake while warm. (Cake should cool a bit after coming out of the oven.)
