Ingredients
- 4 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tsp salt
- 3 lbs. beef chuck, cut in 1 1/2 inch cubes
- 2 Tbs. minced fresh ginger
- 2 Tbs. curry powder
- 1 can (28 oz.) chopped tomatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325 F..
Crush garlic with salt to form a paste. In a heavy Dutch oven, combine Beef, Garlic paste, Onions, Ginger, Curry powder.
Cover and bake for 1 hour or until very tender.
Stir in tomatoes - Bake covered for 12 hour.
Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.
Reheat, stirring occasionally, over medium heat. Or freeze up to 1 month.
Thaw in refrigerator overnight before reheating.
