Homemade Nutella (Hazelnut Chocolate Spread)

Ingredients

  • 150 g hazelnuts
  • 100 g milk chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup icing sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • A few drops of vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

1.Roast hazelnuts at 200º C for 10-15 mins until very fragrant, then rub vigorously with a cloth towel to remove as much of the skins as possible.

2.Blitz in a food processor until it forms a very smooth peanut butter-like paste.

4.Add the rest of the ingredients and continue blending until smooth.

5.Store in a jar at room temperature.
