Sweet & Sour Spareribs (Vallerie)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs pork spareribs cut into 1 inch rib pieces.
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 2 cups water

Preparation

Step 1

Cover with boiling water, simmer covered 10min. Drain dry, brown in fat, drain excess fat pour over browned spareribs. Cover & simmer, stirring occasionally 20 min.

Serve on a bed of fluffy rice.
