Preparation

Step 1

Spread one of the French bread rolls into a flat sheet on a piece of parchment paper. Arrange the other two tubes of dough into a bowl shape on top of the flat sheet of dough. Use a toothpick to hold the sides together if needed. Trim away any excess dough. Beat the egg and brush the bread bowl with the egg wash. Bake at 350 degrees for about 12-15 minutes.

While the bread bowl is baking, mix all the remaining ingredients together in a large mixing bowl until thoroughly combined.

Remove the bread bowl from the oven and fill the hot bowl with dip. Sprinkle additional cheese on top if desired. Place back in the oven for an additional 12-15 min, until bread is browned and dip is hot and bubbly. If needed, bake any extra dip in a separate oven safe dish.

Remove from the oven. Can be eaten warm or after it has cooled. Use tortilla chips, baked bread trimming and bread bowl to dip.
