  • 2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup condensed tomato soup
  • 1 cup raisins

Step 1

Method:
Sift flour, soda, baking powder and spices together 3 times. Cream shortening with sugar until fluffy. Add sifted dry ingredients and tomato soup alternately in small amounts, beating thoroughly after each addition. Stir in raisins. Pour into small greased tube pan or loaf pan and bake.

350 degrees 50 to 60 minutes.
Let stand 24 hours before cutting.
