Ingredients

    cups boiling water

    cup white sugar

    cups flour

  • 1

    tsp cinnamon

  • Frosting:

  • 1

    stick butter, softened

  • 1 1/4

    cups brown sugar

  • 1

    tsp vanilla

  • 1/4

    cup milk

  • 1/2

    cup nuts

Directions

Pour water over the oats and let stand. Mix the remaining ingredients together. Add the oats. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Mix the ingredients together for the frosting and spread on the cake. Place under the boiler and watch closely.
