Simple and Satisfying Bean Salad

Ingredients

  • Makes about 4 cups
  • 1 15 oz can red beans (or any other kind you may like)
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup chopped basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic sliced
  • 2 tsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • Red pepper flakes to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl, cover and refrigerate for about 30 minutes so the flavors can mesh! Serve and enjoy.
