Hot & Sour Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 (284 ml) can chicken broth
  • ? soup cans water
  • 1 (284 ml) can mushrooms, sliced or stems and pieces, drained)
  • ? tb cornstarch
  • 2 tb cornstarch
  • 2 tb soy sauce
  • 2 tb white vinegar
  • 1 tsp tobasco
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 green onions and tops, chopeped

Preparation

Step 1

1) Combine chicken broth, water, mushrooms, cornstarch, soy sauce, vinegar and tobasco in medium saucepan. Cook over high heat, stirring constantly in one direction. Remove from heat. Stir in green onions. Spoon into individual soup bowls. Garnish with additional chopped onions or cilantro as desired.
