Maple, ginger & Five Spice Beans

Ingredients

  • 3-4 cans mixed beans rinsed and drained
  • 2 Tbsp minced fresh ginger
  • 2 Tbsp dijon
  • 2-3 tsp five spice powder
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup dark molasses
  • 2 Tbsp ketchup
  • splash or two of vegetable stock

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 300F.
Mix all ingredients and bake covered. Increase to 375F and bake uncovered till a thick dark sauce covers beans.
