Pork Burgers with Grilled Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1 Tsp. teriyeki sauce
  • 1/2 Pd. ground pork
  • 1 green onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 Tsp. ground ginger
  • Dash of Lawery's seasoning salt
  • Dash of pepper
  • 2 fresh pineapple slices ( about 1/2 inch thick)
  • Bibb lettuce
  • Your choice of buns

Preparation

Step 1

1. In a small bowl, mix mustard,honey and teriyaki sauce.

2. In a large bowl, combine pork, green onion.ginger, Lawery's seasoning salt and pepper., mixing lightly but thoroughly. Shape into 1/2 inch patties

3. Place burger on greased grille rack. Grilled covered over medium heat 2-3 minutes on each side until thermoneter reads 160.

4. Half-way thru the buyers cooking time place pineapple slices on grill and brush with mustard mixture, Grill until lightly brown on both sides.

5 Serve burgers on buns with lettuce and remaining mustard mixture.
