- 1 1/4 lbs green beans, cut into 1" pieces
- 2 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 T red wine vinegar
- 2 tsp sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Cook green beans in a medium skillet in 1 inch simmering water, covered, for 6 mnutes. Drain and set aside.
Return skillet to stove and set to medium-high. Add bacon, and bron. When fat begins to render, add onions and cook with the bacon until tender. Return cocoked beans to pan and turn to coat. When hot, add vinegar to evaporatae and the sugar to combine with pan drippings, 1 or 2 minutes
