Elizabeth's Hamburg Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large onion
  • 3 stalks celery
  • 3 carrots
  • 1/2 cup barley
  • 1 can condensed beef broth
  • 1 can water
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • worchestershire sauce
  • bay leaf

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef. Add chopped onion and celery and cook until soft. Add broth, water, bay leaf, carrots and barley and cook until soft. Add tomatoes, soup and worchestershire sauce. Simmer. Take bay leaf out before serving.
