Red Clam Sauce

Ingredients

  • 3 (7 1/2-oz.) cans clams, minced (and broth)
  • 1 (8-oz) can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 1/4 tsp. basil
  • 3 tsp. parsley, chopped fine
  • 1/8 c. white wine
  • 1/2 c. olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 c. clam juice 3 cloves garlic

Preparation

Step 1

Saute the finely chopped garlic cloves in oil. Add all other ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
