Ingredients
- 2 lg. sweet onions
- 2 T. butter
- 8 oz. Swiss cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 T. soy sauce French bread slices or buttered crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
Slice and seperate onion rings. Saute in 2 tablespoons of butter until tender. Put in 2 1/2-quart baking dish. Mix Swiss cheese, chicken soup, milk, pepper and soy sauce. Pour over onions. Butter both sides of 6 or 8 slices of French bread. Put on top of casserole. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
