Ingredients
- 2 potatoes, sliced raw
- 2 carrots, sliced raw
- 3 onions, sliced
- 4 stalks celery, cut
- 1 (No. 2) can peas, drained (save)
- 1/2 lb. sausage
- 1 1/2 lb. hamburger
- 1 can tomato soup
- Salt
- Pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Place layers of vegetables in a butter casserole in order given. Season each layer with salt and pepper. Brown beef and pork in small amount of fat. Remove when browned and place on top of vegetables. Mix tomato soup with liquid from peas and pour over all ingredients in casserole. Bake for 1 3/4 hours in a moderate 325 degree oven.
