Chicken Tetrazzini

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. spaghetti, broken into 2-inch pieces
  • 8 -oz. can sliced mushrooms
  • 4 T. butter
  • 3 T. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. marjoram
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can Milnot
  • 2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
  • Shredded cheddar cheese (to cover)
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan

Preparation

Step 1

Cook spaghetti until tender. Drain mushrooms and save liquid. Melt butter and saute onion. Add seasonings to onion; stir in mushroom liquid, soup and Milnot. Blend until smooth. In a buttered 2-quart casserole (or can use larger one), mix all ingredients together, except cheese. Top with both cheeses and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes, or until lightly brown.
