Cinnamon-Sugar Apple Rings

  • 2 tbsp. light butter
  • 1 tbsp. light brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 3 large apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/2" thick rings
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts


Preparation time 5mins
Cooking time 20mins


Step 1

In a large skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat; add the brown sugar and cinnamon, stir until blended.

Add apple rings; toss gently to coat. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 - 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Sprinkle with chopped walnuts and serve.

One serving is 1/2 cup.
