Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 cup uncooked rice
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 - 28 oz can tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp dry mustard
- 8 cups chopped cabbage
Preparation
Step 1
Mix beef, rice, onion, garlic and pepper in large bowl. Mix rest of ingredients except cabbage in small bowl. Layer 1/3 cabbage in bottom of 3 quart casserole. Arrange half of beef mixture over top. Pour 1/2 of sauce over. Put 1/3 cabbage, rest of meat and rest of cabbage over. Top with rest of sauce. Do not stir. Cover and let stand 20 min. Cook at 325°F for 2 hours.
