Penne, Broccoli and Bacon Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 1 box mini penne noodles, cooked according to package
  • 1 small head of broccoli
  • 1/2 pound bacon cooked
  • Alfredo Sauce;
  • 2 TBSP butter
  • 1 TBSP garlic, minced
  • 1 TBSP flour
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 1/2 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Saute` butter and garlic in pan until garlic is aromatic.

In a separate pan mix flour, milk and cheeses together until smooth on a low simmer then remove from heat.

In another pan put broccoli and bacon in olive oil and sauté` for a few minutes until broccoli is soft
Add Alfredo to pan and simmer on low to heat through.
Serve over Penne noodles.
