  • 8 oz lump crabmeat
  • 1/2 c diced red bell pepper
  • 2 tbsp plus 2 tsp reduced cal mayo
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 to 5 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 4 oz Italian bread cut into 16 slices

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat broiler. Line pan with foil. Pick over crab meat to remove cartilage. In a med bowl, combine crab, bell pepper, mayo, parsley,chives,lime juice, mustard, parm cheese, and hit pepper sauce, and blend well. Spread 1 tbsp of crab mixture on each slice of bread. Place the crostini on the broiler pan 4 inches from heat for 5-6 min, or until lightly browned.
