Chicken & Dumplings

Ingredients

  • 3-4 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • salt; to taste
  • milk; enough to make gooey
  • 4 chicken breasts

Preparation

Step 1

CHICKEN: Boil chicken in large pot with salt & pepper till done. Take chicken out, and shred. Return to pot. DUMPLINGS: Mix all ingredients together. Drop spoonfuls into pot. Cook on medium heat with the lid off for 10 minutes, then mix cornstarch in water till dissolved. Pour into pot for a thickener. Cook with the lid on for 10 more minutes.
