Ingredients

  • 1

    pint canned oysters

  • 2.5

    c Ritz cracker crumbs

  • 1/2

    c butter

  • 1/2

    tsp salt

  • Dash of black pepper

  • 3/4

    c half and half

  • 1/2

    c. oyster liquor from the can of oysters

  • 1/2

    tsp Worcestershire sauce

Directions

1. Drain oysters, reserving 1/2 c oyster liquor. 2. Combine crumbs, butter, and salt. 3. Spread 1/3 of the crumbs in a greased baking dish. Cover with half of the oysters and sprinkle with a dash of black pepper. 4. Repeat step 3, then cover the second layer of oysters with the final 1/3 of the crumbs. 5. Combine half and half, oyster liquor, and Worcestershire sauce and pour over top of oysters. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
