Ingredients
- 1 1/2 1 1/2 lb chuck steak; 1 inch thick
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup; condensed
- 1 package onion soup mix (dry)
- 3 medium carrots; quartered
- 2 stalks celery; sliced (half inch)
- 3 medium potatoes; pared and quartered
- 2 tablespoons water
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 450'. Place 24" x 18" piece of heavy duty foil in baking pan; place meat in foil. Stir together mushroom soup and onion soup mix; spread over meat. Top with vegetables and sprinkle water on top. Fold over and seal securely. Cook 1 1/2 hours or until tender.
