Challah (Yonina - Does not work in Israel? )

Ingredients

  • 5 lb flour
  • 4 pkg quick-rise yeast
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 c oil
  • 2 T salt
  • 1 c sugar
  • 4 c warm water

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients.

Then add water and rest of ingredients. Add salt last.

Let rise 20 min.

Punch down. Rise again 30 min.

Hafrashas Challah, shape.

Rise 45 min- 1 hr
