Challah (Chani Kotkes- BEST! )

Ingredients

  • 1 bag yeast
  • 3 c warm water
  • 1 egg
  • 2/3 c oil
  • 1 c sugar
  • 9 c flour
  • 3 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix yeast and water.

Add sugar, oil, and egg.

Then add flour and salt

Cover with a damp cloth.

Let rise 1 ½ hrs.

Braid.

Let rise 25 min.
