Ingredients

    cup canned pumpkin

  • cups sugar

  • ½

    cup water

  • ½

    cup vegetable oil

  • 2

    eggs

  • 1⅔

    cups flour

  • 1

    teaspoon baking soda

  • 1

    teaspoon cinnamon

  • ½

    teaspoon salt

  • ½

    teaspoon baking powder

  • ¼

    teaspoon nutmeg

  • ¼

    teaspoon ground cloves

  • chocolate chips, raisins or nuts (optional)

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F 1) Combine first five ingredients well. 2) Add dry ingredients, reserving flour to last, mixing well. 3) If desired, add chocolate chips/nuts/raisins. 4) Pour into 9"x5" loaf pan - bake for 60-70 minutes
