Paleo Vegan Queso Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegan margarine
  • 1 chopped yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon gluten-free flour
  • 1¼ cups So Delicious Dairy-Free Unsweetened Cashewmilk
  • 1 cup So Delicious Dairy-Free Cheddar Jack Shreds
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 chopped green onion
  • 1 chopped tomato
  • 1 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 jalapeño, chopped (remove seeds for a milder dip)
  • 1 bag corn tortilla chips

Preparation

Step 1

In a saucepan, combine vegan margarine and chopped yellow onion until thoroughly heated. Add gluten-free flour on low heat, stirring for 3 minutes, until fully combined.
Add So Delicious Dairy-Free Unsweetened Cashewmilk and bring to a simmer.
Stir in So Delicious Dairy-Free Cheddar Jack Shreds until fully melted. Then add cayenne pepper, smoked paprika and sea salt.
Garnish with sliced green onion, chopped tomato, fresh cilantro and jalapeños. Serve warm with tortilla chips and enjoy with your friends.
