Sauteed Cabbage

  • 2 Tbs. Vegetable Oil
  • 1 Small Head of Cabbage
  • 1 Shredded Tart Apple
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 Tbs. Brown Sugar
  • Dash of Pepper
  • 1 Tbs. Vinegar



Step 1

Add 1 small head of shredded cabbage and a shredded tart apple to 2 Tbs. Vegetable oil in a frying pan. Add about one teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon brown sugar and a pinch of black pepper. Cover and steam over low heat until tender, about 10 minutes. Stir frequently as it scorches easily. When done add about a tablespoon of vinegar. If not tasty enough, add a little more sugar and/or vinegar.
