Ingredients

  • 4 Strips Bacon
  • 1/4 Cup Vinegar
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 2-3 Tbs. Sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Cut bacon into 1/4" pieces and fry until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside. Add vinegar to bacon fat, water, pinch of salt and pepper and 2-3 tablespoons sugar according to taste. Bring to a boil and then shut off heat. Add a little more water or vinegar to taste. Add bacon and cool to room temperature.
