Ingredients
- 20 oz pineapple; sliced
- 17 oz peach halves
- 16 oz apricot halves
- 16 oz pear halves
- 15 oz spiced apple rings
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup dry sherry
Preparation
Step 1
Drain fruit and layer in 2 quart casserole dish. Melt butter in small pan. Combine sugar and cornstarch, stir into butter. Gradually stir in sherry; cook over low heat, stirring constantly until thick and smooth. Pour over fruit. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Remove from refrigerator 15 minutes before baking. Bake at 350' for 30 minutes uncovered. This needs to be prepared in a souffle' dish.
