Ingredients
- 1 medium yellow onion
- 1 head of green cabbage
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 lb egg noodles

Step 1
While melting 1/2 of the butter in a large stock pot, slice the onion. Add the onion and heavy pinch of salt to the stock pot and saute till translucent.
Cut the head of cabbage into strips. Add to stock pot and stir. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until cabbage is tender.
While cabbage is cooking start a pot of water to boil and cook noodles to package directions.
If desired, cook Kielbasa or other sausage separately.
Combine noodles, cabbage and onions and meat. Add peper and parmesan cheese if desired.
