Chocolate Walnut Macaroons

Ingredients

  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 2 tablespoon splenda Granular
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon cocoa powder; unsweetened
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 lg egg white
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

reheat oven to 325°F. Line baking sheet with parchment.

In food processor, finely grind walnuts, Splenda, sugar, cocoa, and salt. Add egg white and vanilla extract and pulse until mixture forms dough.

Shape dough into 12 balls (2 teaspoons each) and place on baking sheet, pressing each to flatten. Bake until edges are firm to the touch, about 12 minutes. Cool on rack and store in airtight container.
