Ingredients
- 2 1/3 cups flour
- 2/3 cup brown sugar; packed
- 1 1/2 stick Butter
- 1 egg; slightly beaten
- 12 oz chocolate chip
- 1 cup nuts; chopped
- 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
- 10 oz english toffee bits
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13 x 9 x 2 pan. In large bowl, stir flour, brown sugar, cut in butter until it resembles crumbs. Add egg, stir in 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips. Add nuts. Reserve 1 1/2 cups mixture, press remaining mixture onto bottom of pan. Bake 10 minutes. Pour condensed milk evenly over hot crust, top with 1 1/2 cups toffee bits. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture on top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup toffee bits. Cool completely in pan. Cut into bars.
