Strawberry Cream

Ingredients

  • 8-oz. pkg cream cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. icing sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 pint strawberries, sliced
  • 4 whole strawberries

Preparation

Step 1

Beat cheese, sugar, lemon juice and nutmeg together until fluffy. Starting with a layer of sliced strawberries, put alternate layers of strawberries and cheese mixture in 4 sherbet glasses. Top each with a whole berry. Chill well.
The cheese mixture can also be used as a dip for whole or halved berries. Bring to room temperature so the dip is not too stiff.
