Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup almond slices
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 1/2 cups rhubarb, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 tsp almond flavouring
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 deg. F.
Mix together 1/2 cup brown sugar, nuts, butter and cinnamon until crumbly. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
Mix together 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, oil, egg and almond flavouring. Add to flour mixture with sour cream. Stir in rhubarb. Put into a greased 9" x 13" pan and sprinkle with reserved topping.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until top is golden and tester comes out clean.
