  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1 1/2 cup milk scaled
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 5 to 5 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats

Step 1

Dissolver yeast in warm water pour hot milk over 1/2 cup sugar, salt & shortening until melts. Cool add yeast to milk mixture, eggs, oats, and 1 cup flour, keep adding flour until you have a soft dough. Knead dough about 10 min on floured board. Place in greased bowl, cover and let rise. Punch down rollout brush with butter then sprinkle sugar, and cinnamon . Roll up like jelly roll and let rise. bake 375 30 to 35 min.
