Ingredients
- 1 slice round steak
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Flour
- Onions
- Chunked peeled potatoes
- Carrots (if desired)
Preparation
Step 1
Cut round steak into serving-size pieces. As many as 6 large or 8 small. Season; dredge in flour heavily. In a heavy skillet, brown well in a little oil on both sides with chunks of onion. When browned, add water and chunks of potatoes. Cook, covered, until liquid is reduced, thickened and the potatoes are done. Amounts of vegetables can be as large as needed.
