Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 2 c. cornmeal
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 med. onion, chopped fine
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 can whole-kernel corn, well drained
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 T. Wesson oil
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 c. water
Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour, cornmeal, salt, sugar, garlic powder and baking powder. Moisten with liquids, then add eggs, oil, onion, and corn; mix well. Drop by teaspoonful in hot 375 degree oil.
