Ingredients
- Filling:
- 2 c dates
- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 c water
- Crust:
- 1-3/4 c brown sugar
- 1-3/4 c oatmeal
- 1-3/4 flour
- 1 c softened butter
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 325. Grease a 9x13 cake pan.
In a small pot, cook filling ingredients until soft.
Mix crust ingredients as for pie crust.
Pat half of the crust mix into bottom pf pan. Pour date mixture over base, and then sprinkle the rest of the crust mix over dates.
Bake for 35-45 minutes.
