Ingredients
- 2 pkgs. yeast
- 1/2 c. lukewarm water
- 1 tsp. slat
- 1/4 c. butter
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 3 T. sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water. Put milk, sugar, salt and 1/2 the butter in pan and heat to lukewarm. Add yeast and water. Add flour and put ina warm place to rise for 15 minutes. Turn out on floured board and pat to 3/4-inch thick. Cut with biscuit cutter. Fold in 1/2 over a bit of butter. Let rise. Bake for 10 minutes at 450.
