Ingredients
- 3 c. diced potatoes
- 1/4 c. diced onion
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1 (16-oz) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 1/2 sticks oleo
- 6 T. flour
- 6 c. milk
- 1 sm. box Velveeta cheese, cubed
Preparation
Step 1
Combine potatoes, onions, carrots, celery and broccoli and cook in just water to cover, until tender. Drain well. Melt oleo in 4-quart pan, add flour, stir and then gradually add milk. Cook, stirring, until thickened. Stir in Velveeta and stir until melted and blended. Add drained vegetables and salt and pepper to taste. Stir well and let stand together to blend flavors.
Serves a bunch!
