Ingredients
- 1 head chinese lettuce, chopped fine
- 2 pkgs. green onions, sliced very thin
- 2 T. butter
- 2 oz sesame seeds
- 1 pkg sliced almonds
- 2 pkgs. ramen noodles, crushed (omit seasoning pack)
- 2 T. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. oil
- 1/2 c. wine vinegar
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in quart pan. Add sesame seeds, almonds and ramen noodles. Stir and mix well; heat through (watch carefully it may burn). Cool. Combine soy sauce, sugar, oil and vinegar; bring to a boil for 1 minute. Cool. Combine all ingredients just before serving and stir.
You may prepare this recipe the night before. Place lettuce and onions in separte plastic bags and refrigerate. Also place dressing in closed jar and place in refrigerator. Combine all ingredients just before serving and stir. You need not refrigerate the dry ingredients.
