Chinese Coleslaw

Ingredients

  • 1 bag prepared slaw
  • 2 pkgs. chicken ramen noodles
  • 1/2 c. toasted sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c. toasted sliced almonds
  • 4 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1/2 c. salad oil
  • 1 T. sesame oil
  • 1 T. sugar
  • 4 T. rice wine vinegar
  • 1 pkg. chicken flavoring from ramen noodles
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Mix slaw, 1 pkg. noodles crumbled, sesame seeds, almonds, and green onions. Mix salad oil, sesame oil, sugar vinegar and 1 chicken flavoring into dressing. Just before serving, crumble second backage of noodles into slaw; salt and pepper to taste. Mix well.

Hint: To toast sesame seeds and almonds, spread over ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 3 to 4 minute, stirring around if needed until lightly golden brown.
