Ingredients
- 8 TBS Butter
- 1/2 C Shortening
- 1/2 C Light Brown Sugar
- 1 C Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 1 1/2 Tsp Vanilla
- 2 1/2 C Flour
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- Toppings . . .Sprinkles, Mini-M&Ms, Reeses Pieces, Crystalized Sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Cream butter, shortening and sugars with paddle attachment. Add eggs and vanilla and mix. Sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Add slowly to cookie batter.
Scoop (medium scoop) and put on a cookie sheet and freeze while oven is heating. (Just to firm them up.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Flatten cookies slightly, then push into toppings. Bake for 12 minutes. (Makes 32 cookies.)
