Tart Berry Coulis

Ingredients

  • 2 cup fresh or frozen berries of choice, more for garnish
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar or to taste
  • 1/2 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp. Kirsch or vanilla extract
  • fresh berries

Preparation

Step 1

Place all in blender, or use an immersion blender and blend until fully blended.

Place mixture in a strainer, and strain, pressing on solids.

Spoon coulis over cheesecake, ice cream, or your choice of dessert. Top with fresh berries.
