PUERTO RICAN RUM PUNCH

Preparation

Step 1

In a large pitcher add 2/3 c fresh lime juice and 1/3 c superfine sugar and stir until it dissolves. Add 1 c (8 oz) gold rum, 1/4 (2 oz) c orange liqueur, 1/4 c grenadine and chill for one hour. Just before serving add one (750 ml) bottle sparkling wine such as Spanish cava that has been chilled and fresh pineapple chunks for garnish.
