The word "apertivo" originates from the Latin word "aperire" meaning "to open." This custom was created with one specific objective: to stimulate appetite. Ingredients

  • 1 oz. Campari
  • 1 oz. sweet vermouth
  • 1 oz. dry gin

Preparation

Step 1

Stir ingredients with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a rocks glass over ice or serve up in a cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
