Negroni
By mirelsonp
The word "apertivo" originates from the Latin word "aperire" meaning "to open." This custom was created with one specific objective: to stimulate appetite. The typical food for an apertivo can include small plates of olives, cured meats, chewy bread, and fragrant cheeses. A traditional cocktail for the apertivo is the Negroni.
