Rivels

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Mix all ingredients into a thick dough, adding a little more milk if necessary.

Push dough thru a ricer or strainer into salted boiling water or directly into soup or stew.

Boil until rivels raise to the top and are tender, approx 5 minutes.

If cooked in salted water, after draining, toss with butter or fry in butter until golden brown the be creative by adding any herbs desired
