Ingredients
- 2 beef T-bone steaks (1 lb./450 g), 1 inch thick
- 2 slices bacon, cut into 1/4-inch pieces
- 1 pkg. (1/2 lb./225 g) sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/4 cup Kraft Original BBQ Sauce
- 1/4 cup dry sherry or water
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
HEAT barbecue to medium. Grill steaks 7 to 8 min. on each side or to medium doneness (160ºF).
MEANWHILE, cook bacon in large nonstick skillet on medium heat 5 min. or until crisp, stirring occasionally. Drain bacon on paper towels. Discard drippings from skillet. Add mushrooms to skillet; cook 5 min., stirring occasionally. Stir in bacon, barbecue sauce, sherry and sugar. Bring to boil; simmer on medium-low heat 5 min., stirring occasionally.
SERVE steaks topped with mushroom sauce.
